Applicants must supply and execute all information and documentation required by the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) or the Mount Rogers Planning District Commission (MRPDC), including proof of ownership, proof of occupancy, insurance policies, estimates, receipts, and affidavits and releases of liability. DHCD and MRPDC have the right to investigate and independently confirm all information provided including information gaps and inconsistencies, as well as conducting title searches as MRPDC determines in its discretion. The staff overseeing the program will assist with all of the documentation necessary for the program, including notarizing the required forms.
